What worked about my crit show piece was the sound of the bells. Looking at Christian Marclay hand how he has explored the fusion of fine art and audio cultures, transforming sounds and music into a visible, physical form through performance, collage, sculpture, installation, photography and video. The idea that the visual world around sound. There is scope to create a range of objects that only operate when you hear the sound.

What are other situations can I make that sound uncanny? Gun, Drum, Guitar. Foley Art, imagine the film by the sounds, come alive when we imagine them. Foley is the reproduction of everyday Sound effects that are added to film, video, and other media in retrospect to enhance audio quality. These reproduced sounds can be anything from the swishing of clothing and footsteps to squeaky doors and breaking glass. It helps to create a sense of reality within a scene. However often the Foley sounds are recordings of something different all together. Sizzling bacon in a pan mimics rain, coconut shells being bashed together the sound of horses hoves.  Without these crucial noises movies feel unnaturally quiet and uncomfortable.

I really like the fact that these sounds are actually something else but them being in a film assigned to an action or sound makes us believe that they are something they are not.
